Mr. Maxwell has more than 25 years experience as a senior investment banker and corporate executive. Prior to joining Westbury, he founded Brentwood Capital, an investment banking/advisory firm working with emerging growth companies in the financial services and technology sectors. Previously, he was Principal at Ironwood Capital, an investment banking firm serving middle market clientele. Until 1997 Robert was CEO of a publicly-traded equipment leasing company, Financing for Science International, serving the healthcare, biotech and high tech markets. As Divisional CFO of Freeport-McMoRan, a multinational natural resource company he was involved in corporate development and project finance. He started his career as a lending officer for the International Division of the Bank of Montreal.

Robert received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from University of Manchester (UK).
