John White
John has about 30 years' experience in petroleum business financial analyses and transactions. He began his career working on acquisitions, divestitures, and exploration and production projects mostly for BP. Subsequently, he performed banking and credit analysis for Scotia Capital. From 1996 to 2003 he served as an energy industry high-yield analyst for BMO Capital and for energy consultancy John S. Herold, Inc. He then transitioned to small- and mid-cap energy industry equities analysis, primarily for Natixis Bleichroeder. At Triple Double, a boutique energy industry investment fund based in Houston, he serves as a research analyst and is also responsible for business development.

John earned a BBA in 1979 from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. He is active in a number of petroleum industry associations including the Independent Petroleum Association of America, the Houston Producers' Forum, and the Texas Hedge Fund Association. He is also a board member of the non-profit Santa Maria Hostel in Houston.
